In this class students will 

• Move the the sounds of LIVE drumming!
• Learn the importance of warming up your body before dancing to promote injury prevention 
• Learn how to dance in a classroom setting, including body orientation and spacing 
• Use various dance class formations.  
• Discover the sounds of the djembe and other African drums
• Learn the names of the drum rhythms they are dancing to.  
• Learn basic choreography or sequencing of movement in order to make the last class a performance for parents!
