Music Together® is a nationally recognized program. Through it’s research based curriculum it helps families to experience the pleasure of informal participatory music and movement. Each session involves music from a collection of songs and instrumental arrangements on CD, songbook and cassette tape, which each family receives. The teacher facilitates the class in a variety of musical activities, which incorporate fun, playful and interactive ways to focus on the tonal and rhythmic elements of music. This is enhanced through small and large movements, the use of props such as balls and scarves and with sticks, shaker eggs and other rhythm instruments.
Age Appropriateness: Classes are for children ages birth to five, accompanied by one (or more!) parent(s) or caregiver(s).
