Did you have (or are you planning) a home birth? Do you want to connect with other homebirthers in the community? This is a peer group geared towards those who had or who are planning a home birth, whether it ended up there or not. Come share stories, discuss different aspects of parenting, and meet other like-minded families in a relaxed and supportive environment. Discussion is led by a facilitator and fueled by the group. Possible topics of conversation include attachment parenting, baby wearing, birth stories, breastfeeding, co-sleeping, etc. Play group amidst parent discussion for newborns through preschool age.

Ages: Babies in this group range from newborns to preschoolers.

Meeting Time: This group meets the 4th Friday of the month from 10:30am - 12:00pm  

Fees:

• Members: Group attendance is FREE for Happy Bambino Members.
• Non-Members: You do not need to be a member to attend groups. You may instead choose to pay the $5 per group fee. Or you may purchase a package of group passes - 5 for $20- or - 10 for $30.
• First group: Non-members are welcome to attend their first meeting of any particular group at no charge - before committing to a membership or paying the group attendance fee.

Megan Monday is mother to Finnegan Alder (May, 2009), who was born peacefully at home. Megan has a background in art and art education (BFA, MSE), and moved to Madison in late 2008 from upstate New York, where she taught and made art.
