Eco-Boutique Policy
- I understand I will receive an email or phone call when Happy Bambino is ready for me to drop off my items. - Happy Bambino takes only CLEAN, in-season clothing that (in our experience) is likely to sell well. - I understand that if I bring soiled or stained clothing that has not been sorted and/or is not in-season that my items may not be sorted. - Items will be priced within two weeks of drop-off, and you will receive an email or phone call stating the total of the Eco-Boutique credit after the items have been priced. - You will receive store credit in the amount of 40% of the total retail value of the merchandise that Happy Bambino accepts. Happy Bambino members receive 50%. This credit is stored as an Eco credit in Happy Bambino's register and does not need to be used immediately or all at once. Eco credit expires ONE YEAR after it is awarded.

Eco-Boutique Guidelines
After we contact you to bring in your items: - If you selected the option for drop-off/no pre-sorting, you can drop off your items at any time. - If you selected the option for staff pre-sorting, you will need to drop off items when Laura or Kris is available to sort through them - no exceptions. Laura will let you know her upcoming hours. Please call ahead to ensure someone will be available to sort your items (608-223-6261). When you bring your items in: - Clothing should be brought to HB in boxes or heavy duty bags. - We accept children's clothing in sizes from Newborn to size 4. - Items should be freshly laundered, with care to perfume and dye sensitivities. Natural unscented detergent is best. - In-season clothing only. Please ask if you are unsure. - Please - NO stains! Pre-sort your items. If you wouldn't buy it, neither would anyone else! - Happy Bambino does not accept clothing with the brand name featured prominently (small and subtle may be OK). - Happy Bambino does not accept clothing with commercial characters (like Pooh, Mickey, & Dora). - We LOVE beautiful colors and comfortable fabrics! - We also take high quality material nursing clothing; cloth diapers; and select baby carriers. - We reserve the right to refuse to look through items that obviously do not meet the guidelines above as this is poor use of staff time and resources!
