What is Carry the Future?

Carry the Future started as a single, modest Indiegogo campaign to raise $2,500 and 100 baby carriers for Cristal (CTF Founder) to send to family she had in Greece so they could deliver them to refugees arriving by boat to their shores. As a result of the campaign going viral, Cristal received support from volunteers inspired and offering to help. Carry the Future is now a network of over 3000 volunteers across the globe and donations continue to flow in from supporters everywhere on a daily basis.
Carry the Future’s mission is to provide relief to refugee families while they are on their journeys to asylum. They specialize in giving baby carriers to families with babies and toddlers. CTF hand-delivers the carriers to refugees and also fits them and instructs them on proper use to ensure safety for the baby and longevity of the carrier.
Q: Why Refugees? Why Greece ?
A: The refugee crisis is a humanitarian crisis and together, we can help. Greece is one of the easiest and most preferred entry points into Europe. Thousands of refugees are arriving on various Greek beaches daily.
Refugees can end up walking hundreds of miles to their asylum destinations. They desperately need a safer, more comfortable way to carry their babies and toddlers. Carry the Future is accepting new and used carrier donations, as well as financial contributions to cover the cost of sending the carriers to Europe for distribution by volunteers to refugee families.
